ADULT NEPHROLOGY PRACTICE
Age: 18 years and older

We will work with primary care physicians (PCP) or directly with patients for:

  • Prevention of kidney disease.

  • Detection of kidney disease.

  • Treatment of kidney diseases due to all causes. Including: Protein or blood in urine, glomerular and interstitial diseases, stone disease, chronic kidney disease due to known or unknown causes.

  • Treatment of abnormal electrolytes: Sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium.

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acidosis or alkalosis.

  • Prevention strategies for recurrent kidney stones.

  • Treatment of high blood pressure and its effects on the kidneys.
  • Treatment of diabetes and its effect on the kidneys.

  • Prevention and treatment of complications of kidney disease e.g. on heart and blood vessels, bone and mineral metabolism, anemia, protein malnutrition.

  • Treatment plans to delay the need for renal replacement therapy (dialysis) in early or advanced kidney disease.

  • Dialysis. Peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.

  • Follow up after kidney transplantation.
