Some require membership. Price lists can be found on their websites. Some offer FREE medications with subscriptions. Examples include but not limited to:

CANADIAN ONLINE PHARMACIES
Can be used for brand name medications at lower cost than in US:
1-Do an online search for the medication specifically from Canadian pharmacies online.
2-Create an account with the pharmacy and obtain their contact information (including: fax number)
3-Ask your doctor to either fax the medication to that specific pharmacy or print a prescription for you to send to the pharmacy.
**Please note that this process may take 6-8 weeks or more for the medication to be shipped and reach you.
DISCOUNT DRUG CARDS
Multiple cards exist. They come in the mail, or can be found at doctors’ offices. They can also be found online when you search for a medication price. You can submit to the pharmacy and they will quote the price that each card offers. You may use a different card for each medication based on the prices offered.

NEIGHBORHOOD PHARMACIES
Neighborhood pharmacies are usually pharmacist-owned and have long term staff. These pharmacies usually provide personalized services. If asked they will discuss options of pricing and can match prices offered by large chain pharmacies.
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES.
*For new medications (brand names), pharmaceutical company representatives may provide some samples to try their medications prior to purchasing.
*Some drug companies may offer assistance programs or coupons for a discounted drug price. They may also offer the drug for free in certain circumstances. Visit the company website or call to inquire about such programs / coupons.
