ADULT NEPHROLOGY PRACTICE
Age: 18 years and older
We will work with primary care physicians (PCP) or directly with patients for:

Prevention of kidney disease.

Detection of kidney disease.

Treatment of kidney diseases due to all causes. Including: Protein or blood in urine, glomerular and interstitial diseases, stone disease, chronic kidney disease due to known or unknown causes.

Treatment of abnormal electrolytes: Sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium.

Diagnosis and treatment of acidosis or alkalosis.

Prevention strategies for recurrent kidney stones.
- Treatment of high blood pressure and its effects on the kidneys.

Treatment of diabetes and its effect on the kidneys.

Prevention and treatment of complications of kidney disease e.g. on heart and blood vessels, bone and mineral metabolism, anemia, protein malnutrition.

Treatment plans to delay the need for renal replacement therapy (dialysis) in early or advanced kidney disease.
-
Dialysis. Peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis.
- Follow up after kidney transplantation.
